Archer: PHRASING!

Archer is a show revolving around Sterling Archer, a spy who is a parody of James Bond. The show mocks little aspects of spy life that is often ignored or overlooked in the Bond movies. Archer can often be heard complaining about his tinnitus that came from loud explosions and gunshots going off around him and various characters can be heard groveling about how they forgot to turn in their expense reports or talking about their life insurance policies which are seldom mentioned in spy movies because it doesn't add to the drama or action, but in this show the producers use these mundanities of life as punch lines or use them in the plotlines to further the story in hilarious ways.

The show is an extreme version of the spy lifestyle, and not an idealized version as seen is movies. like I mentioned, Archer has tinnitus which came from never having used earplugs when getting into gunfights. Archer also makes light of Bond's many partners throughout the series with always having to deal with paying for abortions and receiving a plethora of STIs throughout episodes. The way I'm explaining this might seem rather drab, but that's . . . 

ANYWAYS this show can be really hilarious whether it be due to its very specific jokes that only make sense if you've been watching the show since season 1 or the occasional witty language puns and you can't forget the double entendres which is reminiscent to the "That's what she said" episode of the Office just that instead of it happening for one episode it occurs in almost every episode.
